Astron’s ESG Commitment
In response to the rapid growth of AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and data center technologies, Astron is committed not only to driving innovation but also to advancing long-term ESG development.
We deliver solutions that are both energy-efficient and environmentally conscious—supporting the growing demands of AI computing and cloud infrastructure. By embedding ESG principles into the core of our operations, we aim to foster synergy between technology and the environment.
Green Technology, Sustainable Future
Astron combines environmental responsibility with innovation by using low-carbon materials, lead-free processes, and sustainable supply chain practices to develop high-performance, energy-efficient products that reflect our ESG commitment.
Low-carbon materials
We select environmentally responsible materials to reduce carbon footprint and electronic waste.
High-efficiency design
We improve energy use in AI servers and data centers to reduce overall power loss.
Sustainable supply chain
We streamline production and strictly follow international standards such as RoHS and REACH.
Sustainability in Every Step
In today’s global landscape, Astron is committed to building a transparent and traceable supply chain—from material sourcing to product delivery—ensuring each step meets environmental and regulatory standards.
We prioritize upstream choices that reduce environmental impact—such as lead-free manufacturing and resource-efficient production methods.
From design to logistics, resource efficiency is built into every stage of our operations, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability through real, measurable actions.
People First, Industry Forward
At Astron, we believe that innovation begins with people. We invest in talent development and foster a workplace that values diversity, equity, and inclusion—empowering individuals and encouraging new ways of thinking.
We’re also deeply involved in the OCP community—sharing ideas, working closely with partners, and contributing to long-term efforts that make the industry more open and environmentally responsible.
Partnering for Impact
As an engaged member of the OCP community, Astron works alongside global technology leaders to co-develop interconnect solutions that align with modern energy efficiency goals—addressing the needs of data centers, AI computing, and next-generation infrastructure.
By contributing to open standards and integrating environmentally responsible manufacturing into our practices, we deliver reliable and efficient technologies ready for everyday use.
Conflict Minerals Management Policy
Astron is committed to ensuring that all metals contained in products sold to our customers comply with DRC Conflict-Free requirements. We conduct thorough due diligence throughout our supply chain to ensure that gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), tin (Sn), and cobalt (Co) are not sourced from mines in conflict-affected areas in countries or regions such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) through armed groups or illegal organizations, nor obtained through illegal smuggling channels. In addition, metals exported from the following countries are considered non-compliant with our conflict-free requirements: the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, and Kenya.
Astron also continues to communicate its Responsible Sourcing Policy to suppliers and requires them to conduct reasonable due diligence on their supply chains and disclose the sources of minerals. Suppliers are encouraged to use the CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template) and EMRT (Extended Minerals Reporting Template) published by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) when conducting their investigations and, where necessary, to provide supporting documentation regarding the origin of the minerals. Based on the information obtained, appropriate measures are taken to reduce and/or eliminate identified risks.
